First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
Visegrip ...
Great post. Here are some of my thoughts.
3) From following the chain of events it became evident to me that on several occasions Mr. R. Nemis made some bold/daring decisions which paid off.
Richard is a lawyer. He's smart, cagey, sincere, and has a nose for money. He's been in the mining business a long time, and has the right people around him who help him make bold/daring decisions.
4) BMK and SPQ in all probability had the best information but did not follow through fast enough. (Easy to say hind site).
Neil Novak is Richard Nemis' right-hand man. Novak is the geologist; Nemis, the money guy. Furthermore, Novak evaluates the geology; Nemis negotiates the deal. They are the best junior mining duo around. It is my humble opinion that Novak has not chosen to agressively drill the numerous VMS targets on SPQ/FWR/KWG claims at this time because the smart money is focused on Double Eagle on the chromite strike close to Double Eagle. Moreover, I think Novak was ahead of "McFaulds Strategy Curve" in the early 1990s. However, his time is now.
5) None of the participants were sure of what they would find, not even NOT.
Novak was the one of the first geologist up at McFaulds. He worked with de Beers trying to find kimberlite. Novak probably recognized the McFaulds geology with its sulphides as potentially holding nickel. Alas, (and happily) it seems to hold much more.
6) I have reinforced my belief in BMK and SPQ holdings; NOT is a given.
Ditto.
7) It has been stated before, follow the smart money, and in this conflicting time, the smart money has invested here in the Ring of Fire… who am I to argue?
Richard Nemis defines smart money. People at the NOT AGM commented that Richard had already made them good money. I think a lot a people (including me) are betting that he will make them a large amount of bucks (and I'm not talking deer.)
8) Finally and MOST important note, we are all so focused on Ni that we are ignoring the massive amounts of Cu, Cr, Ag, Au and so on. There are so many minerals in the area that it’s almost inconceivable that we don’t have the makings of a major mine.
I, for one, have not forgotten about the other minerals ... and the kimberlite (QQ_Girl mentioned kimberlite [diamonds] in one of her recent posts; and Novak has mentioned to me personally the possiblity of more kimberlite).
Remember: drills ----> assays ----> 43-101s ---- $$$$. Sigh ... it will require some patience. But all of the indicators are strongly positive.
Best of luck to all.
