John:
What's nice about FWR is their "transparency" - it's not something so obvious with FNC. Now, I'm not bashing FNC because I've got a bunch of their shares. But it's nice to know that Mac Watson is aware of his shareholders. Based on my own DD I bought some more FWR today - and my new shares are up 2.5 cents as I write this post.
I was faintly aware of the FWR-Windfall connection. But it's good the be reminded. Thanks.
I'm not worried at all about Neil selling some SPQ shares. It must hurt him to sell shares at bargain basement prices in order to pay for the milk on his breakfast table. Maybe I should send him a gallon or two when SPQ hits $2.50 - then again I don't think he'll be too worried at that point. (And John, I understand that you think $2.50 is too cheap - I just don't want the McFaulds' Gods to think I'm to cocky :)
I really like the looks of those anomalies on SPQ and FWR properties. When I see them stretching for 100s and in some cases 1000s of meters, I get chills up and down my spine.
Today the market is having some "subprime" indigestion. In order to protect against what looks like real pressure on the downside of the larger market, I have sold all of my US, financial, and tech stocks leaving only McFaulds stocks and some oils. Commodities is the place to be right at the moment.
Keep up the good posts, John.
