Mike ...
I am not an expert in this stuff but there are some distinct differences between how SPQ and KWG are approaching this Ring of Fire thing.
KWG made it very, very clear that they are a diamond company. There's nothing wrong in that, at all. However, the Ring of Fire is getting more and more ink about metals, base and precious. When we read about the ROF and its anomalies, we read about MMS and VMS, but very little about kimberlite pipes.
KWG has nice little JV deals with SPQ, FWR, and UC and their shareholders (I have a position) will benefit. However, from my reading with regards to KWG's MacFadyen operation, all I have heard is that they're going to do some bulk sampling work.
Anyone concerned about KWG could email Bruce Hodgman (info@kwgresources.com) and inquire about strategies moving forward. When I emailed Bruce about the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), he said a date had not been set.
As I said, I am a shareholder but my position is very small. My money is on Novak because he is intimately involved and very active with what's happening at the Ring of Fire.
My opinions only.
