Neil Novak is not partial to sharing really detailed map info. For some reason or other, he believes its information that is confidential to the corporation. From that point of view, he's not really a promoter. He's just an old fashion prospector.
Other investors who follow the mining game, and who are unfamiliar with McFaulds, have commented that it's unusual for mining companies to divulge this type of information.
For interest sake, I went out to Yamana Gold's website and found their most recent presentation on their operations. There were lots of charts and spreadsheets. In fact, this March 2008 PDF document had tons of good information - but no maps.
In my opinion, having chatted a number of times with Neil, we are in good hands. He's always approachable, and you can phone him and ask him questions. But I don't think you'll get any maps other than the Ring of Fire map, and maps issued by the JVs.
