"being a newbie could you explain why anyone would have to shake shares loose when there are so many outstanding shares to buy! just a question i'am a new investor and got into mcfauld's lake because of the obvious potential not because of charts or graphs or investor lingo so please explain. THANX!"
The point is to shake them lose for the price you want. Shares may be selling for .115, but if you think you can create worry and a sell at .11,.105,.10 (look familiar?) etc., then you dump your own shares ( or perhaps someone dumps shares on your behalf) at lower prices causing others to sell for the lower price, if they are skittish enough to do so. Do you think folks are skittish enough of late? Something else to consider is volume. One has to be careful of what real volume would be at this price. After all, selling 50,000 shares at .085 is only $4250. A small price to pay if you pick up 300,000 with the other hand even at .09, .095 or .10 when you previously would have had to pay .115, particularly if the price moves shortly. I hope this makes sense.
