As noted in a previous email or two, I have endeavored to get a response from Michael Bryant (Ontario Government Minister - Responsble for Aboriginal Affairs) on the Platinex - First Nations issue. He has not responded to my emails.
I wanted to get reassurance from Neil Novak (Spider) that his relationship and that of SPQ-NOT-FWR is still top-notch and professional. His response is found below.
He indicates that "all is going well". This is very good to hear.

Our project at McFauld’s Lake is not within the Attawapiskat First Nation traditional territory as currently defined by the MNR and their trapline demarcation. It falls within the Marten Falls Indian Reserve #65 traditional area, with some overlap into Webequie First Nation traditional area.
I am not sure who Mr. Michael Bryant is, if he is the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, I presume he is a busy fellow. I have never dealt with him, but have dealt with the Minister of Northern Development and Mines and the Deputy Minister. The Deputy is most helpful if asked, she is not a politician but rather a more permanent officer of the government, under the auspices of the Minister, who as a result of our electoral system changes from term to term.
I don’t think it wise to marshal anyone, let us do our job, the way we are, all is going well and we don’t need any added pressure from the public in general...
