sum 4 all:
i am trying to remain objective when thinking of those directors who brought this 'split' forward.
i am FURIOUS THAT THEY DID THIS.
in my last post i offered the concept that these directors were being subjective and in wanting to negate daytraders they lost objectivity ...a veiw of the whole picture... (in other words you break the window by killing the fly on it)
...some of these directors may be venting personal feelings about the bashers and traders who are day trading ...as i said i know these bashers personally ...and some of the directors know who they are as well. ....this kind of personal feeling gets in the way of good judgement.
in any event, i do know it was a great error to bring forth the idea of a split.
i do not know for sure why these directors did it ...i only offer the most plausable explanation that i can think of, without being too inflamatory.
this explanation stems from two things: 1) the reason given for the idea a split on sedar ...one of them being the concept of daytrading (written out in more sophisticated language) ...and 2) my knowledge of past history with directors and these very traders/bashers who we know personaly.
if this is the reason it is indeed not a good reason: the traders and bashers were loosing affect gradually... our value as acompany was becoming more prevelant ...it was market sentiment that was holding share price down along with all other junior metals.
i cannot imagion that a director would not know, that to bring forward the idea of a RS, would also bring share price down, way down. in our case, 40% down.
this leaves share holders thinking that these directors may be using this scenerio to some advantage ...perhaps the accumulation of cheap shares... these are the rumers ...no one knows for sure ...but it obviously is on people's minds. ...mostly because it just does not make sense for directors to bring such a RS motion FORWARD at such a stupid time, when it is deffinately not necessary, and when they obviously must know, it will hurt our share price dramatically.
SO WHY DID THEY DO IT ??? (we don't know for sure)
DOES IT MATTER ??? (yes... especially because it is so stupid regardless of their reasoning and particularly if it is based on personal gains, but we may never find out the real reason, that which was on the minds of those directors)
firstly: we can defeat this ...it's a DONE DEAL if our share holders continue to vote NO as they have been indicating. ( they need TWO THIRDS for it to pass !!!! )
secondly: after the defeat of the motion ...lets fire those directors who are responsible for this non sense... and this is possible as well.
cheers to all: danny
