One thing you may want to include in your fax is that there seemed to be more consensus on a possible 3 for 1 split if the basis for the split was to facilitate a mreger with another area player.

It may turn out that the main reasoning for the the resolution was future merger possibilities as opposed to short traders -but who knows..
