Well Al, I do admire that you are the messias of Agoracom. How many other investors did you already save like this? Must be countless. It must be a lot of work to go on every stock forum to warn people the sp might go down before it moves up again. That is very insightful and because you do it without interest to yourself, it's even truely admireable.
But what will you do when the sp of NOT is up to $8,- by September? Will you also have told people to buy at the dip that it is in now and will you tell John he is still wrong then? Only daytraders go long and short on a stock right? Or for that matter to buy SPQ, now that it is way below where it should be? If you really have the knowledge of when to buy and sell you should be a very succesful daytrader or at least ought to be.
I might be wrong but i am always stunned with the generosity of someones time who is an investor and not a voluntary aid worker. I don't really see myself checking all the stocks that i don't own, check which one is in a dip, then find out what the problem is, get to the heart of it, and then warn all people on this board about my findings. You must be a busy man. Hopefully you still have time for the stock that you DO own. Anyway you also convinced me, next to Old Joe, to buy some more, so in fact your post is rather helpful. I would like to thank you for that at least.
By the way if you own a million shares and the sp moves up a penny, you go up $10.000,- not bad. I believe you can do the math yourself because you use a similar example in reverse for explaining that it doesnt matter that you have ten times less shares...
Bottom line is that if they want to do this RS then they should do it after they release their tremendous results. And that is IMHO why these results are bound to come anytime now (remember insider buying before all this RS talk). Unfortunately they came out with this too early... Big lesson for SPQ-management but an excellent opportunity for the person that knows what SPQ has. I think it says enough.
