I am not sure that you have been reading all of the messages for and against the RS.
Initially, I was for the RS as well, and argued against the NO voters. Everyone was telling me that over history RS was a negative sign to the market, and over 50% of the companies involved failed . That did not matter to me, as I knew that we had the goods and over time we would develop a good picture of the deposits we were on.
However, it was the comments from Yellowknifer that made me realize the harm this RS would cause.
Since the board of directors would be able to act on the RS up until 31 Dec 08, any news releases up until that point would be overshadowed by the threat of an RS. Under that scenario, we would not receive any appreciation of SP - who wants to buy shares in a company which is weak enough to consider an RS? The market does not look too deeply at a company that has such a factor, and analysts will certainly not be favouring us with a BUY, even if we were to discover a DE1 type anomaly.
The 'Crusade' has been a discussion on the merits - pro and con - of the RS. Now, it would appear to be a poorly conceived solution that is not necessary.
If all of us shareholders are smart, we will vote this thing down. In the meantime, buy what you can, as I suspect the market will give us some love after the news that this resolution was canned. Timed with a positive drill result (timing should be right for ActLabs to have some cores completed), and this stock can swing for the fence!!
