BACKGROUND*

Richard J. Hamelin has been Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Spider Resources Inc., since June 6, 2005. Mr. Hamelin has been President and Chief Executive Officer of UC Resources Ltd. since June 15, 2005. He has been Acquisitions consultant since November 2002. Mr. Hamelin's mining career began with Kidd Creek Mines Ltd. in Timmons Ontario, in 1974. He worked for 12 years in various departments including production, research and development and ... engineering. He has worked in financial services since 1987. Mr. Hamelin's career progressed in various capacities with a variety of firms. He served as Senior Vice President of Research Capital Inc. since August 2001 and also served as Senior Vice President of Canaccord Capital Corp. from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to February 2004, he worked as a independent businessman in identifying and financing mining companies. From February 2004 to May 2005, Mr. Hamelin served as Executive Vice-President of ECU Silver. He was involved in the brokerage business for the first several years of his career, working for Marleau Lamire, Cannacord, CM Oliver and more recently Rampart Securities, all headquartered in Montreal. In 2004, he relocated from Montreal to Mexico to provide 'hands on' financial advice to a junior company during its start up of mining operations in Mexico. Mr. Hamelin has been a Executive Director of UC Resources Ltd. since 2005. He has been Director of Spider Resources Inc., since January 26, 2000. He has been a Director of Hemis Corp. since August 20 2006. He served as Director of Canaccord Capital Corp. until 2001.
