Message: Noront Looking To Do Some Shipping of Ore

Doryloads ...

How will the NOT news affect SPQ? We have to differentiate between the "institutional" an d the "retail" investor.

I think most institutional investors are still cautious, and will continue to be cautious. E1 looks good. However, many retail investors were hoping for the "motherload" i.e., 5-10 billion tons of ore. At this time E1 has a good chunk of nickel, but nothing close to those numbers.

So I don't think this latest NR will really pop the share price of either NOT or SPQ. Institutions like the banks will continue to play games with the share price. Retail investors should pick away at these lower prices.

Now it so happens NOT is also in a HALT. Why? This is the 64K question. We have the early morning resource statement, but is there something else? If it was a simple "clarification" needed by the TSX, I think we would have heard something by now. So it is my guess that there's something more "material".

So if it is something really big, and really material, it would certainly put pressure on the upside of NOT. SPQ? Maybe, maybe not. IMHO the only thing which might pop the upside of SPQ's share price would be some material information on chromitite.

One thing that has been discussed by myself and others here in Toronto is how Spider Resources needs to present material information to the "press". Notice how NOT has done its NR and Halt today. Was it planned? I think so.

SPQ management needs to get in the big leagues when it comes to presenting material information to both the institutional and retail shareholder.

Finally, I continue to believe strongly that Spider Resources has "the stuff in the ground". It will complement (very nicely, thank you) what NOT has found. Clearly, the mining infrastructure being contemplated by NOT will work quite nicely for Spider Resources too.

I harken back to an email which I sent to NOT many months ago. It had one question: "Have you chatted with Spider Resources?" The answer was cryptic" "We have talked."
