Luckylong's point is an interesting one.
It begs the question "Was Cliffs buying into an ROF player, whose avowed interest is diamonds, a strategic, tactical, or life saving move?
If one digs a little deeper, it seems that Neil Novak recently wanted to buy KWG. That's right. He wanted to buy KWG. A couple of posters on this forum will confirm that point. Neil personally related to me when KWG was hanging by its diamond studded fingernails that "someone in Cliffs knew someone on the KWG BOD" and ---- the buy-in occurred.
So was the buy-in by Cliffs strategic, tactical, or a life-saving move?
I personally think Smeenk has horseshoes up his buttooski. But be that as it may, Neil is going to need some money at some point do really drill up Big Daddy. And I don't think Frank Smeenk is going to help. He's interested in diamonds, right?
