First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
Irish:
Thank you for your report and taking the time to go to the AGM. You and your husband are stalwarts in gathering data whether at AGMs, PDACs, Cambridge Conferences, or Irish Embassy piss-ups.
You write:
'Neil and his BoD will have a number of very strategic decisions to make going forward but the opportunities are there.'
So we have all pertinent data with regards to assays. Clearly (IMHO) we need more data to impress investors and get the SPQ share price off its 3 cent butt. I honestly don't see how Neil gets that data without using the drill bit.
But my last comment also applies to the other ROF players. I think it's axiomatic to equate money = drilling = share price. Smart drilling will raise corporate value.
I wrote this to Hoov at while back in a PM with regards to some of the other ROF players. I don't think he'd mind me sharing it:
JJ over at NOT is charming the pants off folks with her new CEO and her about-to-be new BOD (who I wonder whether know anything about the ROF). Meanwhile, big Mac is quietly drilling away his black treasures and hoping like heck that F2 yields the motherlode of nickel desperately needed. And Jim Voisin although back in the pack thinks he's got the real stuff, in fact, much larger than anyone else. Whatever, the real stuff might be.
I'm actually dreaming of Neil, Frank, Mac, and Jim getting really pissed at the Irish Embassy, and making a deal with IBK and Cliffs to do a reverse takeover of Noront. Naturally, they would keep JJ on for investor relations.
I think the whole of the ROF and SPQ specifically is at a time in the universe called 'inflection'. There is a huge wealth of mineralization under the JBL spruce bogs; the macro economy is still limping along; private placement money is really hard to come by; and shareholders telling the BODs to 'piss or get off the pot - I ain't spending any more money.'
Interesting times ahead, indeed.
