First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
I must agree with JD that these stocks are appropriately labelled "speculative" for a reason. They are in the very early stages of development, they may or may not have results that look interesting to the market, and they need investors (retail and institutions) to believe in them with their pocketbooks.
Many of us have been in SPQ for 5 or more years and have followed it as both the first of the ROF mining companies and possibly the most valuable based on holdings and results. What happens from here is, at this point, purely "speculative".
This is where a board such as Agoracom is so valuable to all posters. Whether you are new to investing or a seasoned veteran it is great to be able to hear different opinions as to what may take place. Who might buy us out? Who might be in the bidding? When will results come out? What will a validated resource report do for the SP?
I am a SPQ shareholder but not a pumper. I know the results to date and anticipate more positive drill results coming out. I hope that if SPQ is taken over there is more then 1 party bidding for their assets. I have done well on my FWR investment and present holdings in CLiffs however for the benefit of all ROF shareholders hope there is another company that sees the long term benefit of this North American location.
What we do not need is the negative posts of some that are starting to appear on the board. I guess it is a sign that we are hitting the big time but their "speculation" that this stock is going nowhere is not based on results to date or history of the ROF (see FWR). Unless there is something material that has been missed by a very knowledgable base of SPQ investors, there is really no reason to see this stock go anywhere but up.
So post your thoughts and reasons for everone to read and do it without trying to minimize another posters input . We can all read and we are all responsible for our own DD.
This of course is all IMHO and I wish all ROF shareholder good investing (because we have the goods and do not need good luck).
