Lived in NWO all my life (Well 7 years in purgatory...Toronto and the World) and I have fished many a lake and river in the ROF area ( Best Brook Trout Rivers in Canada up there).
I do know Gravelle his office is about a stones throw from my business. We have not seen eye to eye on a few issues such as our new HST set to be imposed July 1st of this year, Bill 191 to make Northern Ontario a PARK and the removal of the King Horn rail line from Longlac to Thunder Bay.
The community of Greenstone fought hard to keep the line and asked for provincial help to buy it but it didn't happen and it was sold as scrap for 30 Million. I watched it being torn up Opening Day of ducks (Sept 10, 2009) Near Hurket.
I have also talked to a few of the City Councilors in Thunder Bay about the ROF and what it could mean for our region. Many including the Mayor were at the TBay Chamber meeting to listen to Frank.
As for Gravelle he knows where his bread is buttered, if the Toronto Premiere wants the ROF to be helped along it will be.
