First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
Yesterday announcement from Cliff is very significant. That means that CLF is very serious about KWG and if some 3rd party come there will be bidding war. they want to stay at 20% stake and any further pp will involve CLF at higher prices. Also that tell us that CLF take over offer for SPQ will be at least 50% from the last pp from KWG and that is 18 cents and nothing less. You can just dream of that 8 Cents. I found some great posts from SH Board and I will just copy them here. My opinion is the same like in those posts:
I think it will up but not by a large amount because the market shouldn't be surprised. I believe the uptick will occur because it reaffirms CLIFF's absolute commitment to their KWG ownership position. And it also is an indication that CLIFFS will fight for KWG in the event of a third party positioning for a possible take-over or increased stake .
The CLIFF-hanger (pardon the pun) will be what happens with SPQ. The CLIFFs / KWG connection is already well known - especially with regards to the railroad project. But what is still concealed at the moment is the strategy for the full control of Big Daddy. CLIFFs still has 100% of Black Thor and it is possible (but I believe unlikely) that they may be satisfied with that and their approximate half position of Big Daddy for the time being.
Only with a grab for SPQ will the ambition of full control of Big Daddy be revealed. So what I see in this latest news is that CLIFFs is still positioning itself, and it will not relinquish one single bit of control of what they have acquired to date. And that tells me that the game is alive and well and far from finished .
And that's a strong buy in my play book.
It looks like the "puppet master" is getting nervous . The last thing CLIFFs wants is to have it's creation begin to get up off the slab and start to walk around on it's own. The ROF is becoming an unleashed Frankenstein monster that CLIFFs may have to work hard to put back in a box.
As you mention. Everyone needs to hang on to their SPQ / KWG shares . This is getting more interesting every week.
