Moe Lavigne explained that waterways had a minimum 120 metres of protective reserves on either side. Three rivers - the Little Current, Albany, and Attawapiskat – are Provincial Waterway Parks, with reserves of 200 metres per side. The Ministry of Natural Resources has issued permits to govern the work process.
If this is the case, why is Mr Munias of the FN coming hunting for our heads on the trampling of their grounds? Perhaps they should file their sites and grievances with the Ministry....
