I don't really know where I stand on this matter at the moment. Off the top of my head I can find several points that make the move necessary, and just as many or more that say it is a bad move.

I have opposed the idea in the past quite vehemently, not strictly because of the thought of consolidation, but more because the timing was wrong. I am not so sure this is the case here. For instance, I strongly suspect there is a huge financing in the wings, not small but huge, and this may be one of the factors necessary to accomplish it. If it meant selling out now for 25 cents, or doing the amalgamation which will fund us to take this to the next level, where we can still look forward to some suggestions of $20, what should we do.

Let's wait until we get all the information before we shoot it down. I doubt anyone has much more at stake here than I do, and I am concerned, but not panicing, yet. Look hard for the positives. We may be surprised at what we find.
