First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
You raise some interesting items for argument too. I present my side of the devil's advocate argument:
The first thing that everyone banging on the CLF drum forgets is that CLF already owns all of the FWR properties, which have a proven insitu (from their 43-101). With 69 million tons of ore to dig up, they could open their mine there and be happy for 50 years or more.
IF Big Daddy has better % grade, or we are more economical to start digging than Thor is (due to quality ore closer to surface, resources not under a lake, etc) THEN Cliff might look at our stock as an interest factor. Or, they could choose to buyout KWG and operate with SPQ as a partner. However, they won't buy anyone out until the 43-101 is released, and/or the gov't commits to funding infrastructure. I don't think that any gov't money would flow to support a foreign company, but I could be wrong on this issue, depending on the pressure applied from FN and other northern Ontario interest parties.
It is true the SPQ will still have the same holdings, but if those holdings are of no interest to CLF because they decide to dig Thor instead, then our holdings will be useless at least until the mine at Thor is exhausted.
The mud, she be thick...
