Its unlikely that Cliffs is negligent or stupid.

They are clearly trying to divide and conquer...but there can be no question (...and there was that question til now) that they both want/need SPQ. Unfortunately some people are going to jump for the $.13 and Cliffs may establish more control incrementally with this or another skinny offer.

Hopefully SPQ shareholders can hang in...we have something that a $6 Billion dollar commodities giant from the U.S. wants.
