I was very pleased to see this bit of news this morning. I have been hoping for such a merger for quite some time now, and it is great that they finally saw the logic of the proposal.

Cliff's will vote against it on the KWG side, as will any of their allied stock owners in both companies, so it will be important for all retail stock holders to vote in favour of the merger. Otherwise, you might as well settle for the pathetic offer that CLF has put on the table.
