It is quiet out there, and that is normal. It would appear that the next move will come from CLF, but it won't.

CLF is now in the position that it must either sit down and negotiate a deal that is satisfactory to both KWG and SPQ, or opt to walk away from it completely. If they walk away they will likely get rid of their spokeperson at the same time to save face, after his interview yesterday on BNN, with the smug, 'cat that caught the mouse' expression.

Seriously though, a deal has to be presented to the BOD's that they will accept, and they will make the announcement to their shareholders. I would guess that this will take until the weekend at the earliest, so look for news on MOnday morning at the earliest.

FWIW, Neil told me just before the AGM, that his greatest fear was having to do a deal with CLF for a quarter.
