I think KWG will fund the remainder of the valuation that was already started. I don't see them walking away from a potential game changer.
Here's the hypothetical. KWG & Spider each receive positive valuation reports showing numbers greater than .25 per share. Canaccord and T.D. put together an offer for the merged entity structured to appeal to the institutional investor. Cliffs is left with only one more chance to flip the coin. Either trump the offer or sit on their asset.
Next few days could be very interesting. I don't think T.D. or Canaccord are adverse to a little income opportunity. Their financial depth far outweighs what Cliffs can bring to the table.
Neil may have made a decision here on hiring T.D. that will equal the good luck he had on the Geological side of this play.
