Why don't you do what i do with unwanted sales calls.

Tell them you are very interested and you need to go get a pen to write down the particulars. Leave the phone off the hook and don't go back to it. You'd be surprised at how long they will stay on the line waiting for you to go get that pen.

If you do talk to them, tell them how great the offer is and that you'll be voting for the offer, lie to them like you've been lied to.
