Plenty of gamesmanship going on here between these parties. I don't think I'd try to reason what the intent is or was of such a quick response. Perhaps KWG held back something on their last offer and Spider did this to bring them back to the table as quickly as possible. Just guessing as there are so many scenarios that could be playing out here. Don't forget the joint NR yesterday concerning the diamond play. Hard to judge how closely they are working on this.

With only a week left to toss this back and forth, whatever the BOD does to keep the ball in the air will benefit us in the long run.

Cliffs will likely continue to pick up shares on the open market and then make a last ditch offer on the 6th or 7th to try and gain the 50.1 % target. On the other hand they may make a better offer on the weekend with the caveat that the vote be cancelled. Very hard to discern what will take place.
