I don't totally disagree with some of the soot that has been sent NN's way by posters, but believe it to be overdone. What I find interesting is the love-fest that went on here for months, with those who had direct contact with NN telling us over and over again how he cared for the retail shareholder.

When millions of dollars are involved, that "retail shareholder love" is quickly tossed. And people and institutions that hold very large chunks of stock, that generally are the ones that make the decisions in situations like these, well, they are not much like the posters on this board. This board takes on a reality of its own, and it contrasts markedly with the reality of the equity markets and the bigger players, and by now, most everyone knows what happens when those two "realities" clash.

These message boards serve several wonderful purposes, but once caught up in the world which is the stock message board, there can be some adverse side-effects.
