Jerry,
my background is merely technical and I have some experience with processes somewhat similar to what Starfield Resources showns in parts of its flowsheet presentation for their Lake Ferguson project but targeting the steel industry.
I found this forum - and Starfield - by searching for some familiar hydrometallurgical terms on www.google.com.
For me it is simply interesting with whom (NeoFerric, Hatch, McGill) Starfield is working on their hydromet process and how far they have progressed. The subject is extraordinary complex from a technical point of view and I would expect process development to be extremely costy. If Starfield is at the very beginning of that it may make a lot of sense for them to team up with somebody who is a couple of steps further.
One more note: I feel that Starfield's capex estimate for the Lake Ferguson project is an extremely low number. In my humble, personal opinion, what they intend to build costs them at least twice of what they predict.
Regards
