Susan, I do like green. Painted my living room a color called "mint ice." Cool mint green / silvery color. So now you also know I like silver (& platinum/palladium) more than gold.

I am gradually raising cash (only 10% so far). I'm still making money this year, but it feels more like work than it did last year. I made a very large bet on PM Venture stocks last year, and it's worked out pretty well, but many of these positions are illiquid, so I still have a lot to sell. I know this sounds insane, but last fall I had over 90% of my portfolio in them. Currently down to 50% & hoping to reduce further to 25-30% before the summer doldrums hit.

Historically, the third quarter of a mid-term election year is the worst market quarter, and I think this market is perfectly set up for a repeat. I think the summer & early fall would be a good time to be in cash. Keep the powder dry for an explosive (pun intended) fall!
