Ouch, I had a friend do the same thing. Buy on this side of the border and the more you buy at once and if you are ok with bars rather then coinage the margins tend to roll back. If you are in BC I have heard good things about the Vancouver Billion Exchange.

Btw were they listed with less then .99 purity? This does raise the suspicion card on the rumor that a lot of the current physical market is "salted." I dont believe it but it is an interesting possability if you were suprised by this finding.
