D. Grenville Thomas

Chairman of the Board

D. Grenville Thomas is a graduate of University College, Cardiff, Wales having obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering in 1964. From then until 1967 he was employed as mining engineer and geologist at Falconbridge Nickel Mines in Sudbury, Ontario and at Giant Mines in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. From 1967 to 1976 he worked as a self-employed mineral property prospector and contractor, focusing primarily on properties located in the Northwest Territories. Mr. Thomas founded Highwood Resources Ltd. and has held positions as Director and Officer of that company. He also founded and has held positions as Chairman, President and Director of Toronto-based Aber Resources Ltd. (now Harry Winston Diamond Corporation). Harry Winston discovered (as Aber), and has a 40% interest in, the Diavik Mine in the Northwest Territories, Canada's second diamond mine. More recently, Mr. Thomas was a Director of both Navigator Exploration Corp. and Strongbow Resources Inc. (which merged in May 2004 to become Strongbow Exploration Inc.).

Ken Armstrong

President & CEO

Ken Armstrong graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree (Geology) in1992 and from Queen's University with a Master of Science Degree in Geology in 1995. He worked as a geologist with Diavik Diamond Mines Inc. from 1996 to 1997 and during that time was involved with the development of the original resource models for the Diavik Diamond mine in the Northwest Territories. Mr. Armstrong joined Aber Resources Ltd. (now Harry Winston Diamond Corporation) in the fall of 1997 as Project Geologist, and since that time has also managed diamond, gold, and base metal exploration programs in Canada's north for Navigator Exploration Corp., Strongbow Resources Ltd. and Stornoway Diamond Corporation. Mr. Armstrong is a registered Professional Geoscientist in the Province of Ontario.

Keith Christofferson

Director

Keith A. Christofferson graduated from Michigan State University in 1959 with a Masters of Science, and he practiced as a geologist in Calgary until 1964. Mr. Christofferson graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1967 and practiced as a corporate and mining lawyer in Vancouver until 1997. He is now semi-retired. Past positions and directorships have included Corporate Counsel and Director of Dia Met Minerals Ltd. and Aber Resources Ltd. (now Aber Diamond Corporation) and Director of Navigator Exploration Corp.

Ronald K. Netolitzky

Director

Ronald K. Netolitzky has extensive experience in mineral exploration, having achieved exploration success on three major gold deposits, which have subsequently been put into production: the Snip, Eskay Creek and Brewery Creek mines. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and a Master of Science degree from the University of Calgary, both in Geology. He is currently the Chairman of Viceroy International Exploration Inc. and has served formerly as its President. He is also the former Chair of both Loki Gold Corporation and Baja Gold Inc.

A. Brian Peckford

Director

Hon. A. Brian Peckford, P.C., L.L.D., Director, graduated from Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. He immediately began teaching high school in Newfoundland and in 1969 commenced a career in politics. He was first elected to the Newfoundland legislative assembly in March 1972, at the age of 29. Mr. Peckford's rise through the ranks of Newfoundland government included positions as Executive Assistant to Premier Frank Moores, to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, to the Minister of Rural and Northern Development, and to the Minister of Mines and Energy. In March 1979, at the age of 36, he was elected leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador and Premier of the Province. Mr. Peckford led his party to three successive majority governments in Newfoundland with electoral successes in 1979, 1982 and 1985. In 1989, Mr. Peckford retired from public life and became a self-employed consultant to a variety of businesses and companies around the world. He received the Vanier Award as an outstanding young Canadian in 1980. In 1982, Mr. Peckford published a book entitled The Past in the Present and was sworn to the Privy Council of Canada by her majesty the Queen. In 1986 he was awarded an Honourary Doctor of Laws Degree by Memorial University of Newfoundland and in 2000 was awarded an outstanding contribution award by the Newfoundland Ocean Industries Association. From 1993 to 1998 Mr. Peckford served as a director of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and served on three Committees of the Board of the Corporation. In 1998 Mr. Peckford was appointed as a one person Inquiry by the British Columbia Government to investigate the state of Fraser River salmon stocks and management issues relating to salmon. Two reports were presented in 90 days on budget. Mr. Peckford resides with his wife, Carol, in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia.

Eira Thomas

Eira Thomas
Position: Director
Eira M. Thomas graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Geology in 1990, and is a respected Canadian geologist who brings extensive experience to her position as Director of Strongbow Exploration Inc. She is CEO and Director of Stornoway Diamond Corporation, exploring over 12 million acres of diamond properties in Canada and Botswana, including the pre-feasibility stage, Renard Project in Quebec. Ms. Thomas served as a geologist with Aber Resources Ltd. (now Harry Winston Diamond Corporation) from 1992 to 1997, leading the field exploration team that discovered the Diavik Diamond Project pipes in the Northwest Territories in 1994 and 1995. She was promoted to Vice-President Exploration for Aber in 1997, a post she held for two years. She also served as a director of Aber Diamond Corporation from April 1998 to August 2006.

Ms. Thomas, in addition to Strongbow, is also a director of a number of other public companies and organizations, including Suncor Energy Ltd, Fortress Minerals Corp., the Northwest Territories Chamber of Mines and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. Previously, Ms. Thomas held the positions of President of Stornoway Diamond Corporation, Navigator Exploration Corporation and CEO and Director of Stornoway Ventures Limited.

Dr. William J. Wolfe

Director

Dr. William J. (Bill) Wolfe holds a B.Sc. degree in geology and chemistry from Queen's University (1961) and M.Sc. (1964) and Ph.D. (1966) degrees in geology from Yale University. After graduation from Queen's in 1961, Bill was employed by the Geological Survey of Canada and the New Brunswick Department of Mines before joining the Ontario Department of Mines where he became Chief of the Geophysics and Geochemistry Section. He joined Cominco Ltd. as a senior geologist, and progressed to senior management levels serving as General Manager, Canadian Exploration from 1993 to 1999. During this time he was closely involved with the discovery and ore reserve definition of two producing mines -- the SNIP gold mine in northwestern British Columbia and the Maria copper-molybdenum mine in Sonora, Mexico -- as well as the Kudz Ze Kayah copper-zinc-lead-silver-gold volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit in southeast Yukon.

A member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum since 1962, Dr. Wolfe is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and a Professional Geoscientist in the Province of British Columbia. During 1990-91 he was president of the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines and from 1990-2002 he served as a director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. From 1991 to 1999, he represented the mineral exploration industry on the British Columbia Treaty Negotiations Advisory Committee and has had wide experience with exploration and social impact agreements with First Nations groups in eastern Yukon, the eastern Arctic (Nunavut) and western Arctic (Inuvialuit Settlement Region). In 2000 he joined the board of Strongbow Resources Inc. and was president of that company from 2003 to 2004.

David Gale

Vice President, Exploration

David Gale completed a Masters degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1997, following the completion of his undergraduate geology degree from Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland. Mr. Gale has conducted gold and base metal exploration with a number of companies, including Westmin Resources and BHP Minerals Ltd. Mr. Gale joined Homestake Canada Inc in 1998, and following the take over by Barrick Gold in 2001, stayed with company for 7 years. Work during that period mainly focused on exploration around the Eskay Creek mine, a precious metal enriched VMS deposit in northern British Columbia. Mr. Gale joined Strongbow Exploration in January 2005 and is managing all gold and base metal exploration for the Company. Mr. Gale is a registered Professional Geoscientist in the Province of British Columbia.
