Just curious, how satisfied have you been with Frank's newsletter? I am considering subscribing, as I find him to be one of the best contributors on FSN every time he's on. Do you use it for market timing or for selecting which gold stocks to consider purchasing?

I do subscribe to John Doody's Gold Stock Analyst, which is very good, albiet a bit pricey. For a new gold stock investor like myself, I think a few hundred a year for quality research is more than worth it, so I can sort the good apples from the bad. He focuses more on existing producers, and some emerging producers, so there is some overlap to the junior sector.

My general strategy in selecting precious metal stocks is to look at fundamentals, and compare Gold Stock Analyst recommendations with Puplava's 13-F HR, as well as Sprott's quarterly report. I am thinking about adding Barbera's newsletter as a final source.
