I don't think the Dow is going to 2000 in any case. Once this deleveraging is over the planet will be awash with paper especially when you add in all the new money being created. The holders of the paper are going to be getting an interest return of a percent or two with inflation in high single digits. Plus they are going to take a look at the public sector balance sheets and sheeeet themselves.
Then it will be back into hard assets including the stock market and property but especially the precious metals and there won't be enough, so they'll be after the producers of the stuff. They'll even get around to buying Tyhee eventually...
