Cominco turned heavily to gold uring the last depression. My grandfather and grand-uncles survived the dirty thirties in a mini gold rush that took place at the time in the Omineca region of B.C. Cominco had a large scale placer operation there. Have no idea why I can't adjust this font to normal.
