In this video, RP talks about the no-show of the Chairman of the Fed, and his attending a meeting in Basel with other central bankers.

As you all must know, european central banks hold collectively much more gold than the US. As the world turns towards alternatives to the US dollar, I am sure the Euro holders are concnered and the meeting may be at cross purposes. Bernanke may be there to try to get them to sell more gold, or to propose a new global central bank that he could contorl (his fantasy?). WHile the Europeans may be there to look for increased european control over currency policy issues, and they have the gold to back it up.

It would be great to be a fly on the wall at that meeting, as whatever comes of it may well affect the world. I hope BB comes home dissapointed, as we have seen enough of his leadership!

I'll try to sleuth out the details. Sometimes, however rarely, things can be found in the public domain on the internet which should never have been released! Some clerk or secretary may inadvertently let slip, or let out, the story.
