Does anybody (besides me) remember when on FSN, about two years ago, JP said that "ALL" junior gold explorers with more than 2 million ounces of resources would be acquired in the next 24 months?
Not only did that not come true, but now, in the case of Kinross buying Underworld (UW.V) we have a rather rare event, that as far as I can recall, happened only once before in the last decade:
That is, a miner buys a gold explorer with much less than a 2M ounce resource AND with NOT even with a Preliminary Assessment Study or any permits!
The only other case that I recall was Virginia Gold. Anyone know of another?
I wonder what JP's radar screen looks like today? Ya think he sees a new flock of explorers flying by the seats of their pants soon to be picked off by another larger bird?
Like I said, the gold junior exploration market can be funny.
