No strong evidence for any of this discussion of course, but another issue with JP may have been the poor drilling results recently at Clan. Archaen deposits are deep, not necessarily broad, grades often increase with depth.

The Yellowknife mines are widely famous for high grades (1 oz per ton at the Discovery Mine) and deep drifts.

DW drilled away from the high grade grab samples, previous holes and the high grade sample pile of ore at Clan looking for the deposit limits - well, unfortunately he found them, and it looked as if there wasn't much gold there - at the margins at least. But the holes where gold has been found are very good grades, and as I said, they likely go deep.

For the sake of financing and proving up, DW really should have started where there is known to be gold, rather than going so far outwards.

Deep holes cost more to drill, obviously, so perhaps this is why the extra cash from this PP is necessary. So we either trust that DW knows what he is doing after a bit of a mistake, and ticking off JP and many other shareholders in the process, or we accept JP's efforts to start again with another CEO/geologist. I go with DW. Ike
