It looks like the whole world decided at about 1:30 pm eastern that gold, silver, and their related shares were overvalued, so they simultaneously and without any second thoughts decided to sell it all off. The $40 selloff in gold and the $1.70 selloff in silver show no signs off heavy handed selling at all.
