Thanks for providing more on the Discovery mill fire and subsequent closure of the Discovery Mine. What's not mentioned in that report is to what extent the mine was closed for lack of funds to further explore for more gold at depth.

it says the mine's resources were "depleted". But, for lack of further exploration at depth, it seems unreasonable to state what was or was not availaable to be mined at depth.

When you look at the Discovery Mine''s chart (center panal) on the second page of the Fact Sheet on Tyhee's website, there seems to be significant exploration potential there. They just didn't have the money to check it out.
