LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - May 7, 2008) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. ("Typhoon") (TSX VENTURE:TOO) announces a second series of results of 19 drilling completed during winter 2008 on the Fayolle property owned 100% by Typhoon. The new results relate to the FA-08-03 to 07 holes.

The diamond drilling completed in the west and northwest area of the property, were intended to validate the lateral extensions and vertical depth of the gold mineralization for the Fayolle showing at a distance exceeding 150 meters of the deposit core.

The FA-08-03 drilling has intersected an average crosscut of 1,24 g/t Au over 3,0 meters, this grade was obtained under the 125 meter vertical level. The sampling shows the underlying continuity of the mineralization of this Fayolle area of interest. The best intervals of the FA-08-03 hole are:

The drill holes FA-08-04 to 07 were performed with the same goal in mind. In spite of lower grade these results show clearly from the geologic and structural point of vue that the mineralized envelopes continues in this sector. The best intervals for FA-08-04 to FA-08-07 drill holes are:
