Dal Brynelsen
President, Chief Executive Officer, Audit Committee, Director
With over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, Mr. Brynelsen has been the President, CEO and a Director of the Company for the past 16 years. Mr. Brynelsen was also the Western Manager of Corporate Finance for a national brokerage firm for four years during the recent downturn in mining and mineral exploration. He has discovered, financed and brought to production two gold mines in Canada. Mr. Brynelsen was instrumental in the restructuring of Vangold. He is also a founding Director of Griffin Mining Ltd., a $200m company listed on the AIM Exchange in London. Griffin is the first western company to build a mine in China in the last 100 years.

Mike Muzylowski
Chair of Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, Director
Mike is a geologist with a number of successful discoveries that highlight over 40 years of senior exploration and mining experience. He joined Hudson Bay Exploration and Development Co. Ltd. in 1955 and held various positions including Chief Geophysicist and Senior Project Geologist and became Assistant Superintendent of Exploration and Development. He was then a senior executive for Granges Exploration. He became President and CEO of that company in 1984 taking revenues from $4 million to $65 million per year. He was also Chairman and CEO of Hycroft Resources where he was responsible for increasing production to over 100,000 ounces of gold per year. In 1988, Mike was voted Mine Developer of the Year by the PDAC. He has held several directorships including Tan Range Exploration and Winspear Resources Ltd. Today he is President and CEO of Callinan Mines Limited and has been an active member of Vangold's Board for the past fifteen years.

Locke Goldsmith, M.Sc., P. Eng., P.Geo.

Mr. Goldsmith's professional career started in 1958 as Assistant Geologist for Campbell Red Lake Mines, and Assistant Mine Engineer and/or Geologist for Glen Lake Silver Mines, Agnico Silver Mines, Copper Range Co. and Algoma Steel Corporation. He was Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager for Pan Nevada Inc. and Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager for Horizon Explorations Ltd. (Australia). Mr. Goldsmith is the founder and President of Arctex Engineering Services.

Danae Voormeij, M.Sc, P. Geo
Vice President Exploration
Ms. Voormeij is an exploration geologist with more than 6 years of international exploration for precious metals in developing countries including Mongolia, Madagascar and Suriname. Her specialty lies in the training and supervision of local geologists, and she has led teams of up to 80 nationals. Fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish, she has implemented and run exploration programs from grassroots through to diamond drilling in various geological terrains. She is currently overseeing the West Nile Exploration Project in Uganda.

Michael Mackey, B.A., Llb

Mike is the Managing Director of a private investment and consulting firm. He has a graduate degree in Law from the University of British Columbia. Mike practiced securities law for over 25 years providing legal advice to both private and public companies in North America and Europe. He has acted as an expert witness for the US Department of Justice on securities related matters. Mike has served as a senior officer and director of numerous companies, including resource and technology companies. Over the years Mike has facilitated financing for public companies raising millions of dollars in Canada and the US.

Jonathan E. C. Schroeder, P.Geoph.
Director Oil And Gas Operations, Domestic And International
Mr. Schroeder is a professional geophysicist with a Bachelor of Science degree in astrophysics from the University of Calgary and attended Royal Roads Military College in Victoria, BC. Currently, Mr. Schroeder is chairman of Carrack Holdings Inc., a private investment company; founder and chief executive officer of CODELCO Inc., a private company establishing itself as an environmentally responsible player in the gasification industry, and a member of the board of Forent Energy Ltd., a private oil and gas exploration company with extensive land holdings onshore Nova Scotia adjacent to recent shale gas discoveries. From June, 2002 to November, 2006, Mr. Schroeder was founder, president and chief executive officer of Gladius Energy Inc., a private oil and gas exploration company which grew its production from startup through the drill bit to approximately 1,000 boe/d. Gladius had raised $14 million, had no appreciable debt, and was ultimately sold for $75 million in 2006. During his career Mr. Schroeder gained extensive experience in the frontier and offshore exploration industry as a senior geophysicist with a major Canadian international and frontier exploration company where he initiated, developed and successfully drilled offshore wells in the Jean d'Arc basin, offshore Newfoundland.
