Message: Re: Mr. Baines' reply to my communique - RoyRogers

I've just spent the day reading scientific papers about human
genetic analysis in preparation for my lecture tomorrow, so I'm in an
analytical frame-of-mind, and I have to say that RoyRoger's observation is right on the mark!

That WWF would be allowed to resume trading when there were strong
doubts or reservations about it's management just doesn't pass the
"sniff test"! It sounds like bullst to me!

Either Mr. Banes was completely making that up, or it is the personal and private opinion of someone at the TSX/MRS who
is going to REALLY regret making that statement within earshot of a
journalist!

I consider myself to be a reasonably neutral party when it comes to WWF;
though it makes up a fairly significant proportion of my investment from
2007 (especially because I had to average-down so heavily during that last drop!)
it doesn't make up a
significant proportion of my overall portfolio, so I could walk away from it at any time without
significant pain. Nevertheless, I am LONG on WWF because I believe in this little company,
and I believe in the
talent of "that rig worker" MF!! (and growing up in N.Alberta I have
met a LOT of very very smart "rig workers", so I don't see how Banes
can talk about them so insultingly! Ahole!). So, as a ~neutral
observer, it seems to me that Banes comments
in that regard were fictitious, or at best improper.

Just my $0.02
