I think MF needs some professional fulltime support. All great leaders self assess to identify strengths and weakness and close the gap with proper support. It is very obvious that MF has not completed a full self assessment. Seeking sporadic assistance from our favourite cowboy is not enough to ensure short term ramp up with long term legs. MF may be a great person, he sounds like a great person on telephone calls, he has a vision, he has contacts. But he needs professional office help.
