Yellow Media is the exclusive owner of the Yellow Pages™, Pages Jaunes^MC, Canada411™, Walking Fingers Design™ and Get It Pages™ trademarks in Canada and Your Community Phonebook™ trademark in the United States.

Nearly all of Yellow Media's revenues are derived from the sale of Yellow Pages™ directory advertising to businesses, mostly small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). Directory advertising is the advertising medium used most by Canadian SMEs, mainly due to its comparatively high return on investment.

As a complement to its national Canadian platform of directories, Yellow Media is a publisher of independent directories in selected Mid-Atlantic and Southeast American markets. The company operates print community directories under the Your Community Phonebook™ brand name.
