Mr. Brad Kitchen, B.Ap.Sc., MBA
President, CEO, and Director
Mr. Kitchen is a seasoned financial market professional with extensive experience in structured financings, investment banking and public company governance. His education includes an MBA from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec (1987) and a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (Civil Engineering) from the University of British Columbia (1985). Mr. Kitchen held positions at CIBC World Markets and TD Securities Inc. before founding his own firm, PBK Financial Engineering, in 1997, through which he advises small to medium sized companies on corporate finance issues. Mr. Kitchen has extensive experience managing companies in the resource sector. He was past President of Grenville Gold Corp., is currently the President and CEO of Eagle Hill Exploration Corp., and serves on the board of Megawest Energy Corp.
Mr. Terence Schorn, P.Geo
Chairman and Director
Mr. Schorn is a graduate of the world renowned Haileybury School of Mines and brings over 50 years' experience in mineral exploration, development and production to the company. Mr. Schorn currently serves as President, CEO, CFO, and Director of War Eagle Mining Company Inc., and sits on the board of Zoro Mining Corp.
Mr. Terry R. Fields, B.Sc., LL.B
Director
Mr. Fields graduated from UCLA (B.Sc., 1965) and obtained his Doctorate of Law degree from Loyola University School of Law (1969). He has over 30 years experience as a practicing attorney in California. He is presently an inactive member in good standing of the California State Bar since 2000. Mr. Fields has extensive knowledge of corporate business and finance matters, both international and domestic, having lived in Europe from 1995 to 1999. He has been involved in the resource sector since 1987 when he became President of High Desert Mineral Resources until it was sold to Royal Gold Corp in 2001. He was also President of Apogee Minerals from 1993 to 2004 and Yankee Hat Minerals from August 2006 until August 2007. Presently, Mr. Fields is President of First Pursuit Ventures since 2002 and Meadow Bay Capital Corp since April 2005.
Mr. Cale Thomas, B.A., MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Thomas is currently the Chief Financial Officer and controller of a very strong portfolio of public companies at Sweetwater Capital. Mr. Thomas has extensive experience developing large and small corporations with specific focus on business modelling and cashflow analysis of resource based companies.
Mr. Thomas obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and then continued on to obtain his Master of Business Administration degree with majors in finance, accounting and venture capital management. Mr. Thomas is currently teaching graduate and undergraduate students financial theory and practical application of financial and accounting techniques at a local university on a part-time basis.
Mr. Thomas has worked as a business analyst and operations manager for a large mutual fund company based in Vancouver, BC. Mr. Thomas was responsible for the production and oversight of multimillion dollar operating budgets and provided operational advice to the Executive Vice President of Operations for this mutual fund company for over six years. Mr. Thomas has extensive experience in large and small corporations with annual sales ranging from $5 million to over $100 million annually.
