David Lucatch

Chief Executive Officer

David is the primary founder and CEO of Yappn Corp. Having spent more than 25 years developing business concepts and taking them to market, David has held senior management posts at both private and public media and technology firms. Throughout his business career he has been an active supporter of a number of organizations and has been recognized internationally for his service and support.

David graduated in 1985 from the University of Toronto and continues to serve as mentor for both the university and the Management Economics Student Association programs. In 2010 David was a recipient of an Arbour Award from the University of Toronto, recognizing his continued activities and contributions to his alma mater.

David Bercovitch

Chief Operating Officer

David is a serial entrepreneur who has spent the majority of his career building – and ultimately selling – Thoughtcorp – a computer consulting business. Thoughtcorp had a range of services, including custom application development, business intelligence and data warehousing, and Agile consulting.

David began his career at ACNielsen, spending five years selling and servicing (and eventually managing) their custom built data analytics tools to the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. He then held a brief stint at Cognos, the Canadian Business Intelligence company acquired by IBM in 2008.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University where he graduated with distinction, and a Master of Business Administration from York University where he graduated with honors.

Craig McCannell

Chief Financial Officer

Craig brings 10 years of experience to his role as Intertainment Media’s Chief Financial Officer. As a senior manager in the assurance practice, Craig’s professional background involves extensive experience with publically traded technology entities in both Canada and the United States.

Prior to joining Intertainment Media, Craig held a position as a senior manager at Ernst and Young. He is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and holds an H.BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Nathan Brandt

Vice President, Business Development

Nathan brings his expertise in innovation and technology to his role as vice president of business development at Yappn Corp. He specializes in both launching brands and increasing companies’ revenue exponentially.

Prior to joining the Yappn team, Nathan worked within the fashion and e-commerce industries, including key roles at Saturdays Surf NYC, Karmaloop Inc., and NuORDER.

Nathan has worked in Australia, Europe, and the United States.
