Trudeau is perfectly happy to be able to proroque the parliament  indefinitely so that he does not have to answer to any concern challenged by the opposition parties.The liberal party is a minority government.They benefited a great deal from Covid to hold onto power without giving other parties a chance to challenge them as long as the parliament is not in session.
