Message: ZincCorp are you still breathing?

Is it even possible that ZincCorp would attend the upcoming Cambridge House Resource Conference in Toronto this upcoming Sept. 25th without having released a preceding exploration update NR? It has been 7 months as of today since the last, which merely summarized the West Timmins properties! Will anyone here be attending that conference? The Yukon is on fire right now with the recent activity of ATAC Resources, Selwyn's recent $100 million JV announcement with that Chinese company, etc. ZincCorp needs to capitalize on this and get its SP out of the shitter!!

Michelle Exploration Update - 26 January, 2010

Zinccorp Resources Inc. Plans 2010 Drill Program to test High Grade Zinc, Lead, and Silver Targets at Michelle Project

  • PREVIOUS DRILLING INTERSECTED 7.9 METERS OF 22.71% ZINC, 17.38% LEAD, 510 G/T SILVER AND 253 PPM GALLIUM
  • RECENT GRAB SAMPLES IN UNDRILLED ZONES AS HIGH AS 1330 G/T SILVER, 30.3% LEAD, 27.2% ZINC
  • 15 MINERALIZED TARGETS WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 7 KM BY 12 KM AREA, ONLY 2 OF WHICH HAVE BEEN DRILL TESTED
  • 1500 METERS OF DRILLING PLANNED

VANCOUVER, BC – Zinccorp Resources Inc (TSX-V: ZN) (the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce it is planning a 2010 diamond drill program at the Michelle Project in north-central Yukon Territory. Fifteen mineralized zones have been discovered within an area roughly 12 kilometres by 7 kilometres.

The 2010 program will comprise of at least 1500 meters of drilling, and will test two or more zones not previously drill tested. A gravity geophysical survey will be conducted to help focus exploration towards potential large, high grade bodies. Further prospecting will be conducted, as the limits to the mineralized system have not been set and prospecting has been very successful in previous seasons. (See News Release December 14, 2009). Geological mapping at both property and target scales will help Zinccorp to focus its efforts.

The map of the Michelle project highlighting the different zones, is below:

"The exploration plan for Michelle property is exciting as it has numerous high grade targets that have not been drill tested. The Peak and Gully zones, the only areas drill-tested so far and both of which returned high-grade intersections, are still open to expansion. We expect to be able to expand and define these zones for years to come,” comments Company President, Richard Hughes. “We are currently planning and budgeting for our 2010 exploration program for the Michelle which will begin as soon as possible. As well as the Michelle property, we are well advanced with plans for exploration on a number of recently acquired properties in the West Timmins gold district.”

Exploration at the Michelle Property has revealed zinc, lead, silver and gallium mineralization in dominantly carbonate and oxide form (with minor lead sulphide) over an area measuring roughly 12 kilometres by 7 kilometres. Mineralization is hosted by upper Cambrian to lower Devonian carbonate rocks of the Bouvette formation. Fifteen zones were discovered by the end of the 2009 work, with further prospecting expected to generate additional new discoveries. The mineralized zones are also locally enriched in Indium and Germanium, which may add value to the project.

Numerous boulders of very dense, white barite were discovered at the new showings discovered in the south-western part of the property in 2009. This accessory mineral has not previously been documented on the Michelle property, and may be of economic interest. This area will be further investigated as a priority.

Zinccorp Resources owns 100% of the Michelle Property.
