6 Properties in Timmins West north of the Destor-Porcupine Fault
West Timmins Update - 4 February, 2010
Zinccorp Resources Inc. Plans Exploration for West Timmins Properties in Proximity to Significant Gold Discoveries
- DENTON GOLD PROJECT ADJACENT TO NEBU RESOURCES GOLD DISCOVERY OF 63.22 G/T AU OVER 7.5 METERS (NEBU NEWS RELEASE, NOV. 30, 2009)
- WHITESIDES-CARSCALLEN PROJECT WEST OF MELKIOR’S CARSCALLEN PROJECT WHICH INTERSECTED 60.27 G/T AU OVER 1.8 METRES (MELKIOR NEWS RELEASE, JAN. 9, 2009)
VANCOUVER, BC – Zinccorp Resources Inc (TSX-V: ZN) (the ‘Company’) is pleased to provide an update on a number of recently acquired mineral properties, primarily gold, located west of Timmins along the Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone.

Denton Gold Project:
The Company has acquired two claims adjoining and immediately to the west of the Nebu Resources project where Nebu recently reported a diamond drill hole intercept of 63.22 g/t gold over 7.5 meters within sulphide rich quartz vein material. The quartz carbonate veins are hosted within mafic volcanics in a structure parallel to a contact between mafic metavolcanics and a quartz diorite intrusive.
Zinccorp plans to investigate the continuation of this structure to the immediate west of Nebu’s recent findings and delineate the gold bearing structures through ground geophysics, geochemical sampling and possible follow up drilling.
Crest Lake Gold Project:
The Crest Lake project lies within south central Keefer Township approximately 2.2 kilometers west of where RT Minerals Corp.is currently drilling on their Golden property, which is contiguous to the southwest land holdings of Lakeshore Gold.
Past trenching on the southeast tip of Crest Lake exposed mafic flows and pyroclastics in contact with a granodiorite and produced a grab sample assaying .04 oz/t Au. Soil sampling south of Crest Lake also produced gold anomalies in excess of 10,000 ppb. A VLF geophysical survey suggests a structure transecting the central portion of Crest Lake which may be a continuation of the PDFZ and a northwest southeast trending fault has been determined on the eastern portion of Crest Lake.
Zinccorp geologists plan to investigate this prospective area with an IP geophysical survey to delineate potential drill targets. Further follow up work including a geochemical survey may be warranted to help determine drill targets.
Whitesides-Carscallen Property:
The property lies in Whitesides Township immediately west of Carscallen Township where Melkior Resources has focused drilling on north-south structures which have intersected gold bearing structures in four zones over a strike length of 950 meters.
The property hosts a belt of mafic metavolcanics sandwiched between mafic to ultramafic intrusives to the north and granodiorites to the south. Major northwest southeast trending structures also occur within this favourable stratigraphy. The property has been previously explored for nickel-copper l within the gabbros in the north.A historical gold occurrence is situated to the west of the property within the mafic metavolcanic belt.A program of linecutting and IP and mag geophysics is currently underway within the mafic volcanics to identify potential drill targets.
Rock sampling by the company in the fall of 2009, southwest of Bean Lake returned assays of 0.40 % Ni and 1.06 % Cu and 0.20% Ni and 1.68% Cu from two grab samples within a gabbroic sill. Prospecting, trenching and stripping in this area will be initiated in the summer.
The Company also wishes to announce an amendment to the closing of a private placement previously announced December 18, 2009, amended on December 29, 2009 and closed on January 13, 2010. The total number of units is 22,566,647 for total proceeds of $1,918,000.

Michelle Exploration Update - 26 January, 2010
Zinccorp Resources Inc. Plans 2010 Drill Program to test High Grade Zinc, Lead, and Silver Targets at Michelle Project
-
PREVIOUS DRILLING INTERSECTED 7.9 METERS OF 22.71% ZINC, 17.38% LEAD, 510 G/T SILVER AND 253 PPM GALLIUM
-
RECENT GRAB SAMPLES IN UNDRILLED ZONES AS HIGH AS 1330 G/T SILVER, 30.3% LEAD, 27.2% ZINC
-
15 MINERALIZED TARGETS WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 7 KM BY 12 KM AREA, ONLY 2 OF WHICH HAVE BEEN DRILL TESTED
-
1500 METERS OF DRILLING PLANNED
The map of the Michelle project highlighting the different zones, is below:
Numerous boulders of very dense, white barite were discovered at the new showings discovered in the south-western part of the property in 2009. This accessory mineral has not previously been documented on the Michelle property, and may be of economic interest. This area will be further investigated as a priority.
Zinccorp Resources owns 100% of the Michelle Property.
