Based on an early January court date as well as the terminology used in recent PRs, I’d say that some customers are still waiting on a more definitive outcome from those legal proceedings before making a final committment to rent or purchase eVUs. I’d guess that e.Digital has been assuring potential customers that it ‘expects’ to prevail (hence the language of "growing their order backlog"), but it’s probably wiser in most cases to await a final decision.

While I hate to have to wait until next quarter for news of additional orders, I think this will be the reality. News regarding IP monetization appears more likely before year’s end. It will be nice if such news turns out to be significant (read: share price goes up by more than a few cents).
